How can I help?

In times of distress, thoughts and feelings can often be confusing and overwhelming. It may seem as though you have lost your way or sense of perspective. You may feel you need to speak to someone simply to get some emotional relief or you may wish to discuss a specific issue which is having an impact on your life. I offer a safe, confidential space for you to talk, be listened to and be understood. The benefits can include a sense of peace, greater optimism, understanding and self-confidence.

About me and my practice

I have been in private practice for over 9 years. I first came to counselling when I suffered a personal crisis. I found it really beneficial to talk to someone and I felt called to become a counsellor myself so I could guide and help others in times of need.

Experience

I have been trained in psychosynthesis which is an integrated and holistic therapeutic approach.

I also have 25 years experience working in the corporate sector, including 10 years as a manager, mentor and team leader with a global professional services company.

I'm interested in mindfulness based interventions as part of the therapeutic process and how these can improve awareness of physical, emotional and mental patterns. I have attended a teacher training retreat with the Oxford Mindfulness Centre.

I sit on the Board of Directors of a charity giving support and advice to male victims of domestic abuse.
